Maria Cleofe Boyero was born in Spain and she moved to Paris in 1995.She is painter and Interior Decorator graduated from the Ecole Boulle in Paris. She lived also in Brazil, Egypt and Netherlands, before moving to Romania, in Bucharest. She is member of Romanian Association Creative Women in Fines Arts.
Always interested and fascinated by Modern Art, she has been experimenting with different techniques and supports for many years. She has been attempting particularly to create new approaches with salvages materials such as cardboard and metal, which allow her to express more widely her creativity. She has also created various sculptures both in painted wood and in metal.
In 2001 and 2002, she presented two exhibitions in Al-Shomou Gallery in Cairo named “Material & Oil” and “Touch the Colors”. In October 2002 she presented another exhibition in World of Art Gallery in Cairo, called “Empire of Colors”.
In January 2004 she presented her works in the “Grand Marché de L’Art Contemporain” at Bercy Village in Paris. In July and August 2005 she organized another exhibition at “Art et Couleurs” Gallery in Reims (France).
In May 2007 she represented Spain at the international exhibition named “European Bridges” in the National Brukenthal Museum in Sibiu (Romania).
In October 2007 she presented her works with the Romanian Association of Creative Women in Fine Arts in Senso Gallery in Bucharest.
In Mars 2008 she made a new exhibition named “Objects, Material and Painting” in the Basil Gallery in Bucharest (Romania).
May 2008, The Exhibition « European Bridges « is once again organised in Bucharest at the Romanian Parliament (House of the Nation).
In February 2009 she organized another exhibition “Return to the Past” in the Basil Gallery. In November 2010 she presented her works within the exhibition “Rencontre entre Matiere et Peinture » in CCIFER of Bucharest.
In June 2011 she organises her latest exhibition in Bucharest, entitled "Exterior Light" at the outdoors Basil Gallery.
